国内最高峰のタンナー「株式会社 山陽」が3M「scotchgard™」テクノロジーを採用した独自レシピで開発した防水レザーと、強度と軽さを兼ね備えたCORDURA® Ballistic Hollofil AIR™のコンビネーションにより、「軽くて水に強いレザーバッグ」という新たな機能美を纏った特別なアイテム。
この特別なアイテムの制作を担当するのは、日本の鞄づくりの聖地・兵庫県豊岡の「豊岡鞄®」ブランドを牽引する「株式会社 木和田正昭商店」です。
ブランド設立からの20年間、メイドインジャパンのモノづくりにこだわり続けてきたberuf baggageだからこそ実現できた、「ブランド×タンナー×生産地」の三位一体によるコラボレーション。
日本のモノづくりの粋を集めた、特別なコレクションが誕生しました。
It is a special item embodying a new functional beauty as a “lightweight, water-resistant leather bag”, combining waterproof leather developed by Japan's premier tannery, Sanyo Co., Ltd., using a proprietary recipe incorporating 3M's “scotchgard™” technology, with CORDURA® Ballistic Hollofil AIR™, which offers both strength and lightness.
The production of this special item is entrusted to Kiwada Masaaki Shōten Co., Ltd., the company spearheading the Toyooka Kaban® brand from Toyooka, Hyōgo Prefecture – Japan's sacred ground for bag craftsmanship.
Over the 20 years since the brand's founding, it is precisely because "beruf baggage" has remained steadfast in its commitment to Japanese craftsmanship that this collaboration—a trinity of “brand × tannery × factory”—has been realised.
A special collection embodying the essence of Japanese craftsmanship has been created.
＜整理整頓と負荷分散を簡単にする2ルーム仕様＞
「URBAN EXPLORER PRO」は、都市を行き交うトラベラーやビジネスパーソンのためにデザインされた多機能バックパックとして最高峰の機能性を誇る、シリーズ最上位機種のバックパックとなります。
大開口のフロントコンパートメントは、自由度の高いパッキングスペースとして約14Lの容量を確保。仕分け用のストレッチメッシュポケットのレイアウトも充実しており、収納の最大化と効率化をサポートします。
もう一つのテックコンパートメントは、その名の通りデジタルガジェットを集約して収納するスペースとして約10Lの容量を確保。16インチ相当・14インチ相当のPC（タブレット）がそれぞれ収納できる専用のスリーブポケットに加え、ワンタッチで簡単に着脱できるテックポーチが付属します。このポーチにアダプター/マウス/ケーブル類/記憶媒体/充電機器などの周辺機器をまとめて収納することで、移動中や外出先環境でのPC作業の最大化と効率化が実現できます。
＜快適な移動時間を支える背負い心地＞
このモデルのために新たに型を起こしたショルダーハーネスには、高反発タイプ（外側）と低反発タイプ（内側）2種類のウレタンフォームを組み合わせて採用しています。高反発タイプはハーネスの型崩れを防止し、低反発タイプは身体への負荷を軽減する役割を担いながら、背面パネルのクッションパッドとの相乗効果で的確に荷重を分散し、快適な背負い心地を実現します。また、Fidlock®社製マグネットパーツを採用した長さ調整用のストラップは、より快適な使用感を提供します。

"URBAN EXPLORER PRO" is the top-of-the-line backpack in the series, boasting the highest level of functionality as a multi-functional backpack designed for travelers and business people who go around the city.
Two-room design achieving both organisation and load balancing
The large front compartment has a capacity of approximately 14L for flexible packing space. The layout of stretch mesh pockets for sorting is also extensive, helping to maximize storage and improve efficiency.
The other tech compartment, as its name suggests, has a capacity of approximately 10L and is a space for storing digital gadgets. In addition to dedicated sleeve pockets that can store a 16-inch equivalent laptop (tablet) and a 14-inch equivalent laptop (tablet), a tech pouch that can be easily attached and detached with one touch is included. By storing peripheral devices such as adapters, mice, cables, storage media, and charging devices in this pouch, you can maximize and improve the efficiency of your PC work while on the go.
The feeling of comfort to support smooth travels
The shoulder harness, which has been newly designed for this model, uses a combination of two types of urethane foam: high-repulsion type (outside) and low-repulsion type (inside).
The high-resilience type prevents the harness from losing its shape, and the low-resilience type plays the role of reducing the load on the body, while the synergistic effect with the cushion pad on the back panel accurately distributes the load and provides a comfortable carrying experience. In addition, the length adjustment strap uses Fidlock® magnetic parts for a more comfortable feel.

It has an extremely minimalist appearance that goes well with any style, a two compartment with a calculated balance of function and capacity, and a side pocket that can be accessed while carrying it while on the move, making it perfect for city life.
