国内最高峰のタンナー「株式会社 山陽」が3M「scotchgard™」テクノロジーを採用した独自レシピで開発した防水レザーと、強度と軽さを兼ね備えたCORDURA® Ballistic Hollofil AIR™のコンビネーションにより、「軽くて水に強いレザーバッグ」という新たな機能美を纏った特別なアイテム。
この特別なアイテムの制作を担当するのは、日本の鞄づくりの聖地・兵庫県豊岡の「豊岡鞄®」ブランドを牽引する「株式会社 木和田正昭商店」です。
ブランド設立からの20年間、メイドインジャパンのモノづくりにこだわり続けてきたberuf baggageだからこそ実現できた、「ブランド×タンナー×生産地」の三位一体によるコラボレーション。
日本のモノづくりの粋を集めた、特別なコレクションが誕生しました。
It is a special item embodying a new functional beauty as a “lightweight, water-resistant leather bag”, combining waterproof leather developed by Japan's premier tannery, Sanyo Co., Ltd., using a proprietary recipe incorporating 3M's “scotchgard™” technology, with CORDURA® Ballistic Hollofil AIR™, which offers both strength and lightness.
The production of this special item is entrusted to Kiwada Masaaki Shōten Co., Ltd., the company spearheading the Toyooka Kaban® brand from Toyooka, Hyōgo Prefecture – Japan's sacred ground for bag craftsmanship.
Over the 20 years since the brand's founding, it is precisely because "beruf baggage" has remained steadfast in its commitment to Japanese craftsmanship that this collaboration—a trinity of “brand × tannery × factory”—has been realised.
A special collection embodying the essence of Japanese craftsmanship has been created.
「URBAN EXPLORER PRO」は、都市を行き交うトラベラーやビジネスパーソンのためにデザインされた、ブランド史上最も機能的なEDC（Every Day Carry）バックパックです。
＜都市の移動に最適化＞
このバックパック最大の特徴である「2ルーム仕様」は、日々持ち歩く荷物を用途や役割ごとに整理しやすくすることで収納効率を高めると同時に、荷重を適切に分散させることで、長時間の移動でも快適な背負い心地を実現するという設計思想に基づいています。
大開口のフロントコンパートメントは、自由度の高いパッキングスペース。小物の仕分け用にオーガナイザーポケット、書類用のドキュメントポケットを備え、収納の効率化をサポートします。（容量14L）
テックコンパートメントには16インチ相当 / 14インチ相当のPC（タブレット）が収納できる専用のスリーブポケットを配置。さらに、背面側上部にはガジェット類の収納スペースとしてワンタッチで簡単に着脱できるテックポーチを配置し、デバイスとガジェットの収納に強さを発揮します。（容量10L）
本体外装の左右側面には、ブランドのシグネチャーディテールであるガジェットポケットを配置。移動中でもバッグを下ろすことなく必要なアイテムへ素早くアクセスできます。さらに背面には、薄手の貴重品の収納に適したセキュリティポケットを配置。持ち歩くアイテムの用途や使用頻度に応じて最適な収納スペースを割り当てることで、都市の移動をよりスマートで快適なものにします。

適度な硬さとクッション性を兼ね備えたショルダーハーネスは、肩の傾斜に沿う取り付けアングルと、身体に沿うアールを描くことで快適なフィット感を生み出します。 自身の背面長に合わせて背負う位置を調整すれば、背面パネルのクッションパッドとの相乗効果で的確に荷重を分散し、快適な背負い心地を実現します。
また、Fidlock®社製マグネットパーツを採用した長さ調整用のストラップは、より快適な使用感を提供します。

The “URBAN EXPLORER PRO” is the brand’s most functional EDC (Every Day Carry) backpack to date, designed for travelers and business professionals navigating the city.
＜Optimized for Urban Exploring＞
The “two-compartment design”—the standout feature of this backpack—is based on a design philosophy that enhances storage efficiency by making it easy to organize daily items according to their purpose and function, while also ensuring a comfortable fit even during long trips by properly distributing the weight.
The front compartment, with its wide opening, offers a highly versatile packing space. It features an organizer pocket for sorting small items and a document pocket for storing papers, helping you organize your belongings more efficiently. (Capacity : 14L)
The tech compartment features a dedicated sleeve pocket that can hold a 16-inch and 14-inch PC (or tablet). Additionally, a tech pouch that can be easily attached and removed with a single touch is located at the top of the back panel to store gadgets, making this bag ideal for organizing devices and accessories. (Capacity : 10L)
The left and right sides of the bag’s exterior feature the brand’s signature gadget pockets. This allows you to quickly access essential items on the go without having to set the bag down. Additionally, the back features a security pocket designed for storing thin valuables. By allocating the optimal storage space based on the purpose and frequency of use of the items you carry, the bag makes getting around the city smarter and more comfortable.

The shoulder harness, which combines moderate firmness with cushioning, provides a comfortable fit thanks to its mounting angle that follows the slope of the shoulder and its curved design that contours to the body. By adjusting the carrying position to fit the length of your back, the back panel’s cushion pads work in tandem to distribute the load evenly, ensuring a comfortable fit.
In addition, the length-adjustable strap, which features magnetic components manufactured by Fidlock®, provides a more comfortable user experience.
